BOOKING AND MANDATORY INFORMATION

When purchasing a package from Costa Cruises at a travel agency, ask to make a reservation through int.costaextra.com. In this way you and your agent will be able to see the best available rates, real-time updates, and a video showing the type of cabin chosen and the exact location on the deck. In accordance with international rules and to avoid problems during the cruise, you must always provide the travel agent with the following information: personal data and data of persons accompanying you. This is necessary for making a booking with Costa and will allow us to provide you with the necessary services during your holiday. Required data:

• first and surname;

• date and place of birth, citizenship, gender (M/F);

• mobile phone number of all adults in the cabin (only for emergency calls);

• home address (address, postal code, city, region/province/territory, country);

• email address mail;

• number, date of issue, place of issue, and validity period of the identity document required during the trip;

• the name, surname and telephone number of a relative or friend whom Costa can contact if necessary on the cruise;

• CostaClub membership number for the discounts to which you are entitled.

In order to contact our guests for emergency operational matters and to confirm reservations, it will be mandatory to provide the email and mobile number of the first passenger of each cabin at the time of booking.

Flight Information (standard fare flights and transport)

The name of the carrier, flight number, schedule and intermediate stops will be known at least 3 months before departure.

Prices for Special Flex fares (special fare flights and transport - promo)

In most of our destinations, you can book flights at promotional rates with departures from a variety of airports and real-time confirmation. Costa Customer Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Transfer to and from the airport is always included in the package price. Instant confirmation of paperwork is always required. Tickets are issued at the time of booking. When booking tickets for all flights at a promotional price, a service fee of 10 euros is charged for each passenger. In the event of a trip cancellation, the air carrier retains 100% of the cost in accordance with the rules set out in Art. 6 "Cancellation of the passenger's trip" of the general conditions of the package. Passenger-related substitutions (name change) and other changes (route, class, date, etc.) are prohibited.

Charter and scheduled flights

The flight schedule may change after the release of tickets. You will be advised of possible changes prior to departure. Guests with special needs

Costa Cruises wants to best serve people with special needs who wish to cruise but have a physical, visual or other disability. In accordance with binding international regulations, the company must be aware of the "need of its guests for assistance in case of emergency" (wheelchairs, etc.). so it may prepare as needed. This information must be provided:
- within 40 days of departure, or

- upon confirmation, in the case of booking made less than 40 days before departure.

We recommend that guests with disabilities who require special assistance and/or medical equipment during their journey arrange for such equipment (such as a wheelchair) to be provided through a travel agent or directly with Costa Cruises at the time of booking. We will gladly accept an accompanying person on board at a cruise-only rate. The accompanying person must travel in the same cabin as the disabled guest. Guests must inform Costa Cruises of their need for an escort at the time of booking confirmation to receive the discount. Costa Cruises must send the required documentation within 3 business days of confirmation. Accompanied guests will receive a cabin equipped for people with disabilities. Free accommodation for accompanying persons will be provided subject to the availability of cabins for people with disabilities. This offer cannot be combined with special family offers. When booking for 3-4 adults, the accompanying person stays free of charge on the 3rd or 4th bed, and when booking under a special family offer, the 3rd or 4th bed will be charged 50% of the adult rate. For double occupancy of an adult and a minor passenger who pays 50% (half of the fare), a free ticket will be provided to the minor passenger. Please be aware that in some ports it may be difficult for guests with reduced mobility to disembark, especially when disembarking from the liner on the disembarkation support vessels. Travel Policy for Children and Infants

Children under the age of 18 may travel on our ships only when accompanied by an adult. Children who are under 6 months of age at the time of boarding are not allowed on board. For long cruises and round-the-world cruises of 15 days or more and on other itineraries on which, due to their specifics, we cannot guarantee the protection and safety of our little guests, the minimum age of passengers is 12 months.

Pregnancy

Since our ships are not equipped to assist pregnant women and deliver babies, women who are expected to be 24 weeks pregnant during the cruise will not be allowed on board (see art. 2.8 of the General Conditions). Pregnant women will need to carry a certificate of their health and the health of their unborn child. Costa Cruises is not responsible for the possible consequences on the course of pregnancy.

THE DOCUMENTS

To get on board you will need to have:

- the boarding form obtained after completing the web check-in (by accessing the website www.mycosta.com with your surname and booking number starting from 14 days before departure) and having issued the medical health self-declarations

- your cruise ticket (which includes tags to be applied to baggage)

- plane and/or train tickets (when included in the price)

- a summary of the services purchased

- your travel documents (identity card, passport, etc.)

We remind you that it is the passenger's responsibility to obtain the necessary travel documents that comply with the requirements of the customs and immigration office. Passengers without the correct travel documents will not be allowed to board and will not be reimbursed for the trip.

Passports and visas

Passport – guests must have a valid passport; all necessary visas must have been issued.It is also important to communicate first name or surname changes for newlyweds as soon as possible. The first name and surname must be indicated in the cruise and air ticket exactly as in the passport. Any discrepancies (including nicknames or abbreviated names) may prevent boarding and will also result in the cancellation of insurance. If guests do not have all the required documentation, they will be denied boarding/flight. A cancellation fee will apply. Please note, that the passport may be held by Costa personnel upon boarding and throughout the cruise. Documents can be provided to the border service. A passport can be issued at the request of the guest, when disembarking from the liner during an excursion at the port of visit.

Children under 18

Children under 18 must travel with a passport. The possibility for nationalities only outside the EU to be recorded in the parents' passport depends on local national regulations, which must be clarified with local authorities. If children are traveling without parents, legal escorts or anyone else identified on the child's documents, Costa requests that all relevant travel documentation for the child be checked with the relevant authorities.

Special Information for India and China:

Visa required. Guests must apply for a visa at the embassy or consulate prior to departure. When explicitly stated, prices include the cost of obtaining an entry visa to India or China. Please contact the official representative or consulate.

United States of America

In accordance with the regulations of the US Department of the Interior regarding the Visa Waiver Program, Costa Cruises reminds you that: 1) Passengers who hold an e-Passport issued or renewed between 26 October 2005 and 26 October 2006 may visit the United States without a visa. 2) Passengers who are in possession of a machine-readable passport that is issued or renewed after 26 October 2005, which has a digital photograph printed directly on the passport, may visit the US without a visa. 3) passengers who have a machine-readable passport that was issued or renewed after 26 October 2006 must have an electronic chip with the main page information (electronic passport). 4) Citizens of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Slovakia can travel without a visa with a machine-readable passport with an electronic chip. Dubai and UAE

For cruises arriving or departing from Dubai and the Emirates, passengers must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of return. Visa requirements vary by nationality. Information must be checked in advance at the UAE Consulate.

World Cruise

• For most European nationalities, a machine-readable passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of return is required, as well as visas for Australia and India issued prior to travel.

• For the Schengen area. Passengers who need a Schengen visa are advised to check the relevant information at the consulates for the availability of travel in all countries included in the cruise, the length of stay, as well as the number of entries, according to the itinerary of the liner.

DURING THE CRUISE

Security checks (SECURITY)

For the safety of all Guests, the on-board Security staff carries out checks on people and their luggage during entry and exit from the ship in all ports of call. The checks are carried out by means of an X-ray machine and metal detector. We inform you that, for safety reasons, each bag can weigh a maximum of 20 kg and we recommend that you bring one per person. The dimensions of the hand luggage must not exceed 55x35x25 cm, in order to allow X-ray inspection. Medicines, computers, cameras, valuable or delicate items must be carried in hand luggage. Please work with our staff to make these checks faster and more efficient.

Cabin baggage is checked on the day of boarding. We remind you that the following items are not allowed on board: weapons and ammunition, explosives, fireworks and rockets, compressed or liquefied gases (flammable, non-flammable, refrigerants, irritants or poisonous) such as camping gases, flare guns and pistols for starters, infectious and poisonous substances, corrosive substances, radioactive substances, objects constituting improper weapons, drones, goods, and live animals. We invite you to avoid buying antique weapons, knives, daggers, swords or similar items while on shore excursions.

If any of these items are found in your possession, you will be asked by the on-board Security staff to leave them ashore.

We also point out that, in line with the health and safety standards adopted by Costa Cruises for its Guests, it is forbidden to bring any type of liquids and food on board, whether they are in hand luggage or in cabin luggage.

The only exceptions are personal care products (shampoo, shower gel, creams, etc.), medicines, specific products or foodstuffs for children, products or foodstuffs for special certified diets. The ban also includes drinks or food purchased during stops in ports of call. Typical regional products purchased during the stopovers will be taken into custody on board the ship and returned at the end of the cruise.

Special restrictions for the Maldives

We remind you that the use of any narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances is strictly prohibited in the Maldives. The punishment is imprisonment. The following items are also prohibited and will be confiscated irrevocably: pornographic materials (sexual toys, books, magazines, films, videos, DVDs and software of sexual content), religious materials that offend Islam, idols for worship, casino tokens, animal parts (ivory , tortoise shell), pork and pork products, swords, daggers, alcoholic beverages, products from self-service restaurants.

Special restrictions for Thailand

Remember that e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited in Thailand. In accordance with local law, violators will be fined, and serious violations may result in imprisonment.

Safety on board

Once on board, we invite you to familiarise yourself with the ship's safety procedures, reading the information displayed on the back of your cabin door, taking a few minutes to watch the security video that is already in operation when you first enter the cabin, and reading on the programme of the day the time of the emergency exercise to which you are invited. Before departure you will in fact be required to participate in a training session whose main purpose is to familiarise you with the path that leads to your meeting point. It will be a very easy process, as our staff are located in the ship corridors and will help you to reach the meeting point. You will also find on the back of your cabin door a plaque indicating the route.. Wear clothing that takes into account the fact that the exercise will end outdoors and remember your life jacket for this exercise. When you arrive at your meeting point, you will be shown and given the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the procedures to be followed in an emergency. The safety of guests and crew has always been the top priority for Costa Cruises. All crew members are in possession of BST certification (Basic Safety Training, carried out at a recognised international centre) and are also subjected to an intense programme of familiarisation with the ship. Their training is also consolidated during the entire period of familiarisation at the time of boarding. In addition, depending on the different tasks, the staff receives other types of particular training. For example, members of the fire team are regularly sent to ground training centres where fire simulations are performed and addressed by the team who use the techniques and practise what is taught by qualified instructors belonging to the professional fire brigade teams, both Italian and foreign, who support us in this type of training.

RESTAURANT SERVICE AND GASTRONOMY

Special diets

These can be served if requested and agreed at the time of booking. The Guest can report the need to follow special diets, hypoglycaemic for diabetics, gluten-free or report other types of allergies/intolerances. Any special dietary needs can be safely handled only at the main restaurant and not at the self-service restaurants. For the efficiency of the service, Guests are asked to reconfirm their needs at the time of boarding with Customer Service and the restaurant managers. In the event that Guests bring the products necessary for their diet from home (which must be strictly packaged and sealed), it is necessary to inform the Maître d’ immediately after boarding, in order to agree on the preparation of meals.

Vegan Menu

A menu based only on vegan recipes is available to guests who will request it when booking the cruise. In the main restaurants you can choose from an offer of dishes, from starters to desserts, without ever giving up on taste and good food. Confirm your choice to Customer Service and restaurant managers upon boarding.

Beverage Packages

The drink packages are personal, non-transferable and not shareable. They must be purchased by all guests in the same cabin, or with the same booking number and/or travelling together. Packages that include alcoholic beverages are reserved for guests aged 18 and over (21 in the United States). They include a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks served by the glass and are also valid on the day of arrival. Whole bottles of wine or spirits will not be served. Mini Bar products, cabin service and prestige brands are excluded (with the exception of the Connoisseur package). The service will be denied to guests in a state of intoxication.

PAYMENTS ON BOARD

The Costa Card

In the cabin you will receive your personal Costa Card to be used immediately and throughout the cruise to pay for the extra services used on board. Any expenses will be automatically debited from your cabin account and you will not need to carry cash for daily expenses. Within the first 24 hours of boarding you will have to cover your Costa Card by registering your credit card or making a minimum initial deposit of 150 euros / USD per adult (depending on the currency on board) in cash or by check (see dedicated section Bank checks). It is also possible to use the Bancomat (limited to cards issued by the PagoBancomat circuit) to make deposits (see dedicated section). The initial amount must be supplemented during the cruise with additional payments when the extra expenses incurred on board will be greater than the balance available at the time. The Costa Card will be blocked during the third day on board if you have made expenses exceeding 200 euros / USD without having registered your credit card or paid the deposit in cash. It will be possible to consult your account directly on the Costa App, on the Costa Smeralda also on the IPM displays.

Payments with Credit Card

Registering your credit card is undoubtedly the most convenient, simple and fast solution to make the most of your holiday. You can do this within 24 hours of boarding in the Ingenico automatic devices on the ship. Every day the expenses incurred will be charged to your credit card. American Express, Visa, Mastercard credit cards are accepted on board. Please note that the updated banking security regulations require the use of the PIN also for credit cards. Debit cards, prepaid cards, rechargeable cards, VISA Electron, Postepay, Postamat, and Cirrus Maestro are not accepted. We suggest you check with your bank before departure about the type and methods of use of the card in your possession.

Cash payments

In case of cash payment, having made an initial deposit, you can pay the account or get a refund (if on credit) at the automatic Cash Deposit Machine devices. Any credit will be processed in cash in compliance with current Italian regulations, or by bank transfer for any amounts exceeding these legal limits.

Payment by Bancomat (PagoBancomat circuit only)

For cruises with on-board currency in euro, it is possible to use the PagoBancomat to make the deposit (initial or supplementary) and the final payment. Both operations can be performed in the Ingenico automatic devices present on the ship. If you have a credit at the end of the cruise, it can be redeemed in the same way as indicated in the Cash payment section.

Payment by bank checks

Bank checks issued by Italian banks are accepted on board, with branches located in Italy both for deposits and for payment at the end of the cruise. The maximum amount is 3,500 euro per single check, subject to electronic authorisation from the Centax company. Currency on board and Currency Exchange Service The currency in effect on board is shown in the Service Fees table. The Exchange Office is available by telephone booking at 3333. Information on traded currencies is available from the Office itself. The Office does not make cash advances by credit card.

HOTEL SERVICE CHARGES

Wether you have purchased a cruise with the Comfort Plus, Super Comfort Plus or My Cruise rate, a fee will be charged to your account daily, which covers the onboard hotel services actually enjoyed. The charge will be settled daily as for the other expenses incurred. The pre-established daily amount varies according to the destination and the currency on board according to the following scheme:

The amounts indicated (in the table) refer to the service fees for Guests over 15 years of age. For all cruises children under 4 do not pay, while children aged 4 to 14 pay 50% of the amount shown above. OTHER INFORMATION

Ship at anchor

It should be noted that during some stopovers the disembarkation will be at anchor to allow the guests on excursion to go ashore.

Smoking ban

Costa Cruises makes every effort to ensure that the smoking ban is respected on its ships. Smoking – cigarettes, cigars and pipes – is not permitted in all public areas inside the ship, with the exception of areas marked as "Cigar Lounge". Electronic cigarettes can be used only and exclusively in the cabins and areas marked as "Cigar Lounge". In the outdoor public areas, smoking is only allowed in the designated areas equipped with ashtrays. Please also note that smoking is not allowed inside the cabins but only outdoors on private balconies. In order to avoid the danger of fires, it is very important to always put out and throw cigarettes in the appropriate ashtrays and never throw them lit from the ship. We also point out that on board the Costa Mediterranea and Costa Victoria ships there are no internal public areas for smokers.

Beverage Services

In the bars and restaurants on board, 15% will be added to the bills for the service.

Taxes in the USA

When ships are docked in US ports, 20% will be added to the value of drinks consumed on board.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS

Mobile Phones

Thanks to the agreement with various commercial partners, all ships in the fleet have satellite mobile radio coverage that allows customers of the main mobile telephone operators to send and receive calls and SMS and use data services even in the open sea. The telephone number must be enabled for international roaming traffic. Rates are determined by your operator. If the navigation takes place near the coast, the mobile phone could connect to a terrestrial operator.

Satellite line

On board it is possible to make phone calls from the cabin with the satellite phone. Contact the on-board Customer Service for details. For telephone communications from land to board, the user must dial the satellite prefix followed by the ship number.
