The 25 km² of St. Barts offer one of the most diverse landscapes in the Lesser Antilles, with hill, grassland and savanna dotted with small houses in pastel colours. This is an island of Breton and Norman blood, owing to its Swedish and French domination. The white beaches and the crystal clear waters surrounding this pearl, have helped turn it into a location for luxury tourism. We find elegant shops and a level of services similar to France.
Not to be missed:
• Gustavia, the capital, which overlooks the elegant marina
• Baie des Flamands and Grand Cul-de-Sac
• Baie de Saint Jean, with its long and beautiful white beach
