Sasebo

On your Far East cruise, you'll stop at Sasebo, a port on the rugged coastline of Nagasaki Prefecture in Japan, comprising a myriad of green islets. The Sasebo Seaside Park near the Kujirase Futo Pier is the perfect place to view the coast, along which you will see dozens of boats moored. The Yumiharidake Observatory offers a panoramic view of the nearby islands of Kujuku Shima Islands and the slightly more distant Goto Islands. Huis Ten Bosch, a theme park that recreates many Dutch-style buildings, is just half an hour from the town, which also has a beautiful park planted with seasonal flowers.
