Despite being one of the poorest Caribbean capitals, Roseau exudes a special charm, steeped in florid and luxuriant nature typical of the rainforest. Roseau is a mixture of modern architecture and the French colonial style. The town itself is well worth a stop, even if it’s just to buy some artisanal items or to sample the tropical fruits which, along with lime, essential oils and spices, are the main exports of Dominica. Nearby, you can enjoy enchanting natural landscapes, hot springs and waterfalls, including Trafalgar Falls also known as the "Twin Falls".
