It is located on the island of Honshū. The Shin-Kobe Ropeway goes up as far as the southern foothills of the Rokko mountain range. During the ascent, you will pass near the Nunobiki waterfalls and the Nunobiki Herb Garden. When you reach the top of the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge, you will enjoy a spectacular view of Kobe both day and night. A Sorakuen, a traditional Japanese landscape garden, is located in the centre of Kobe. Kobe Harborland is a shopping destination along the promenade of the port area, where there are many cafes, restaurants, shops and other types of entertainment.
