You'll depart the ship for the visit of Ha Long bay. This Bay is one of the world's natural wonders, and is the most beautiful tourist destination of Vietnam. Ha Long Bay features more than one thousand awesome limestone karsts and islands of various sizes and shapes along the 120-km coastline of Bai Chay Beach.Your cruise past the Heavenly Gate, the Thien Cung Cave-Heavenly palace Cave which you'll have the chance to visit inside. You will then continue your boat tour by cruising past some other islands like the Incense Urn Islet, the Cock-fighting Islet before heading to boat terminal. Once on the mainland you'll board the bus and you'll enjoy a short panorama tour of Bai Chay town, before arriving at the top of the mountain for a wonderful photo stop. There are many legends associated with the name Bai Chay. According to one legend, when the fleet carrying food for the Yuan-Mongolian invaders led by Truong Van Ho came there, the Vietnamese troops and locals under the leadership of Tran Khanh Du set fire to it. The whole fleet was engulfed in fire, setting also the forest on fire. Since then this stretch of beach became known as Bai Chay or scorched beach. Finally, before returning to the ship, you'll drive to Hon Gai market where you'll have free time for shopping and choose some of the typical local products sold there.

What you need to know

Please note: Due to the slippery pavement of local boats and long walk in the Cave comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Please pay particular attention embarking and disembarking on the local boats. This can be difficult for children and elderly guests. This excursion is not recommended for guests with mobility problems. The order of the itinerary may vary.
