Antigua and Barbuda

If you're looking for a more British-style Caribbean, you can't miss the Costa cruise to Antigua and Barbuda. Visiting these destinations and going on spectacular excursions (there really is one for every taste), turns your holiday into a cocktail of exciting experiences.
During the cruise to Antigua, we’ll pass through the capital Saint John's and visit the interior of the island and the small villages of All Saints and Liberta, to reach the South coast and Nelson's Dockyard National Park, a place rich in history and natural beauty. From Shirley Heights, we can take spectacular photographs of the coast and the bay. Nelson's Dockyard is the most important historical site of the island, which began as a British naval base. There are numerous original buildings, restored and returned to their former glory. Barbuda is about 20 nautical miles from Antigua. Here we can admire the largest nesting colony of seabirds and follow a route to the very long 11 Miles Beach. The only thing missing is an Antiguan rum punch to achieve perfection.
