Tailor-made shore excursions
“Adagio Tour”: more time for everyone
On holiday everyone has their own pace. For this reason, we have created shore excursions accessible to all: designed for guests who like to experience their journey in peace and relaxation.
The new “Adagio Tour” is available exclusively on the Costa Smeralda Mediterranean cruises:
in every port we dock in, we have planned group shore excursions accessible to everyone.
The list of “Adagio Tour” itineraries includes visits to the cities of Genoa, Pisa, Marseilles, Barcelona, Palermo, Rome, Palma de Mallorca and Cagliari.
The “Adagio Tours” are designed for guests who want to experience the shore excursions with a more relaxed approach, and want more time to savour the pleasure of the visit and to enjoy discovering places and attractions at a slower pace. This makes them particularly suitable for parents with buggies, the elderly and people with permanent or temporary physical disabilities.
Disembarkation safety
Disembarkation safety means that everyone can get off the ship safely using the special link footbridge to the mainland. Only in special conditions, for example, in ports where the ship cannot dock and the landing is carried out by special tender boats within the harbour, or if total safety for guests with reduced mobility issues cannot be guaranteed due to the sea conditions, it is the responsibility of the captain to assess and authorise the landing mode.
Air transport service
If you have chosen to make the trip via air and have to bring your wheelchair aboard, please inform us within 7 days from the date of departure by completing the form for special needs, which will allow us to guarantee you an excellent transport service to the port of boarding. Among the information you need to enter, please indicate the height, width, depth and weight of your wheelchair, specifying if it can be folded (and if so, with the folded measurements too). Also remember to specify whether your wheelchair is manual or electric and if it is coded WCHC, WCHS, WCHR.
