'JERUSALEM AND BETHLEHEM': Excursion in Haifa

A picturesque itinerary will take you to Bethlehem to visit the famed Church of the Nativity, which attracts throngs of pilgrims of all faiths every year, and to Jerusalem, a mosaic of numerous districts and villages, each with its own style and jealously preserved habits. Following a sightseeing tour of the modern districts, you will enter the Old City to see part of the Via Dolorosa, the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher and the Wailing Wall. Panormic view of the surrounding area of one of the city’s hills. Before we enter on board we will make a stop in a shop where you can purchase some souvenirs.

Please note: The visit to the Old City is on foot over uneven ground for approximately 2 hours, guests are advised to wear comfortable shoes and clothing. This tour is not recommended for people with mobility problems. Please wear comfortable walking shoes clothing suitable for the places of worship visited (women are advised to bring a scarf to cover their shoulders in the churches; shorts are unacceptable for both men and women). At the border between Jerusalem and Bethlehem the Israeli guide will leave the bus and a local Palestinian guide will accompany the group around the Church in Bethlehem. Queues are usual for entrance to the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre and to the Church of Nativity, with waiting times that may exceed two hours. Consequently, it may not be possible to visit the Basilica and the Grotto. In this case your guide will give the commentary outside.
